Sausto was born December 3, 1985, in Somers Point and grew up in Atlantic City NJ but moved to Lake Havasu City, Ariz., in 2005 to be with his mother and his sister. The youngest of three siblings, Sausto enlisted in the Army in February 2006. He went to high school in Mays Landing, Atlantic County.
Family members said he was a shy, quiet youth, once in an army uniform, Anthony found his calling, and his manhood. He came of out his shell, he was so outgoing and confident. He also had a compassionate side. He was a great man with a big heart who saw the brighter side of life.
By joining Mainland Baptist Church in Galloway Township and being born again at age 14, Anthony showed he wanted to be with the right kind of crowd and people. He was devoted to the congregation, attended services three times a week and went on church retreats and to its summer camp. He is also survived by his mother,sister, father, a brother and his fiancée, Carli Crissman of Tumwater.
