02/02/1968, NEAR PHAN THIET, BINH THUAN PROVINCE, VIETNAM
On the morning of February 2, 1968, the Tet Offensive was in its third day when A Company, 506th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, combat assaulted into an area near Xuan Phong hamlet in Binh Thuan Province, RVN, in an attempt to engage enemy forces operating in nearby Phan Thiet. During this intense fighting, part of the Tet Offensive, SFC Bunn was killed.
