Killed in Iraq by indirect enemy fire. Specialist Andersen was born in Elkhart, Indiana in 1960.

On Aug. 28, 2004, Specialist Andersen married Linda (Kovacsics) Andersen in Niles, Michigan. The family that survives Specialist Andersen is extensive and includes children, step children, grandchildren, and seven siblings.

Paul was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He joined the U.S. Army Reserve on Aug. 1, 1985. Specialist Andersen had a deep sense of duty to his family and his country. His love and courage will forever live in their hearts.

Dear Mrs. Linda Andersen, Family, & Friends, I am a soldier stationed in Camp Liberty Iraq with the 129th Area Support Medical Company.
