I worked with Rhett in Lago Vista, what seems like forever ago. He was a very kind young man and I loved how he’d always tell the old folks “Hi, I’m Rhett” and they’d always ask “like Rhett Butler?” and he’d reply, “Yes, exactly that, actually. You see, my mom loved the movie…”. I remember seeing a clip on the news right after he was KIA and though I hadn’t seen him in a long while, my heart ached knowing the loss that was suffered by any who knew him. You are not forgotten, Rhett, and never will be. Sending peace and love to your family and friends on this memorial day.
