Sergeant First Class Goldsmith served as a Special Forces combat medic. Wyatt was born September 21, 1982 in Redmond, WA. Wyatt began his education at “The Little School” in Bellevue and then transferred to Ben Franklin Elementary in Kirkland. Wyatt’s outstanding learning abilities placed him in the advanced course study program throughout grade school. He also excelled in extracurricular activities. He accelerated in the Highly Talented and Capable program throughout Junior high school. In 2001 Wyatt graduated from Colville High School, moved to Spokane, and attended Spokane Community College.


In June of 2004, Sergeant First Class Goldsmith enlisted in the Army as a Special Forces Recruit. He aimed for and achieved the assignment of Medic “Delta18” and received his Green Beret. Wyatt deployed both to Iraq and Afghanistan.

During his final deployment in March of 2011 to Afghanistan, his experience in intelligence, weaponry and as a Medic earned him a senior position on the team. Wyatt gave his life in defense of the United States of America. A true American Hero.

Sergeant First Class Goldsmith was a gifted student, a protective brother and a loving son. He had an insatiable quest for learning which drove him to “push the envelope.” He was a consummate leader, guiding with his knowledge, innate good judgment and a compassionate heart.
