Clay was born in Harrison, Arkansas on March 18th,1990.

Clay has always been a caring, compassionate, loving family man. He would do anything for anyone, and always put others before himself. As a teenager he worked for his dads roofing company, better yet everyone else worked while he supervised.

His favorite things were hanging out with Emily (his wife) watching the news with his dad, hunting, playing computer games, going to football games, fishing, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and going out to eat.

Clay always talked about the military. He was always watching the Fox News and stayed plugged in with whatever was going on at the time. He made his dream of going in to the Army a reality when he joined September 16th, 2009. Clay went to basic training and Airborne School in Fort Benning, Georgia. In April he was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

On May 7th, 2010 Clay married his sweetheart of 7 years. On June 7th, 2010 Clay was deployed to Arghandab, Afghanistan. On July 4th,2010 Clay went to paradise.
