Private First Class USMC Eric Dennis Currier, 21, was killed in action on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 during operations against enemy forces in Helmand Province, Afganistan.

He was born in Methuen, March 13, 1988. Eric was raised in Methuen and Londonderry, N.H. and was a graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2007. He joined the Marine Corps in 2009.

Eric is survived by his wife, Kaila (Parkhurst) Currier; father, Russell Currier, Jr. of Methuen and his mother, Helen Boudreau and her husband Kevin of Londonderry, N.H,; his siblings, Brent, Dylan, Kevin, Melana, Cassie, Jake and Alyssa; grandparents, Russell and Judy Currier of Methuen; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Lia Parkhurst of Haverhill.
