James was drafted into the military in September 1972, and entered service that October. He has two sons, Ja’Vaughn (29) and Ashton (26) and we have a 4 year old grandson Keegan. James had deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2004. He earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Combat Action Badge, and Bronze Star Medal while there.
James and I started dating July 26, 2005 and were married April 7, 2007. He was deployed to Kosovo July 2007 and returned July 2008. James was an avid student of military history and really enjoyed World War 2 history.
He was a serious individual but we could have fun together! James and I were destined to life a long full life together, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. He was my everything!
