The memories of Jeremy will be forever with his family, friends, and acquaintances. His smile was infectious to all who saw it and knew him. While he was definitely a patriotic soul, he never aspired to be a hero. Yet to us all, he was a hero who will be remembered. The sun will shine a little dimmer in many lives without him. Sunshine and full military honors accompanied the posthumous award of the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service as several hundred people said farewell to Jeremy.
