Julius L. Legosa was killed in action on December 20, 1944. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, and served during World War II. He had the rank of Technician Fourth Class. He served with the 28th Infantry Division, 110th Infantry Regiment in Campaigns in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland Central Europe.

Julius L Legosa is buried at Plot H Row 2 Grave 40, Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. This is an American Battle Monuments Commission location. Notable awards: The Purple Heart ,Combat Infantry Badge, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal.
