Kyle was born with an over abundance of love and laughter. He was always happy and full of life. He was a “hugger” from the day he was born, he loved hugs more than anything. If you were blessed by one of Kyle’s hugs, you could feel it came from down deep in his soul. Wrapped in his arms, all was right with the world.
He was just an ordinary kid, the boy next door, the go to guy and your best friend all wrapped up in one big body. He wasn’t a jock, or the homecoming king, he never made first string, or won any gold medals. He was the guy everyone liked, he looked down on no one, anyone who came in contact with Kyle remembered his laughter and kindness.
In the early morning hours before he was killed Kyle told ones of his buddies the following; ” I don’t know why we are here and honesty I don’t care. It’s my job. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to stay in. After all is said and done, I don’t want any medals or ribbons, they mean nothing. I don’t want a parade or a bunch of people telling me good job. It’s my job and I don’t need special recognition for something I am supposed to do. All I want to do is go home and see my wife and kids. I want to spend as much time with my family as I can. That would be payment enough.”
Thank you God for sharing Kyle, and letting us be his family here on earth. We have truly been blessed.
