I knew Ryan for about 3 years at Franklin High School. He was in a few of my classes each year. I remember him as being the one to do anything to bring smiles and joy to others. He was an awesome man, and will forever be in my prayers, my heart, and my mind, along with Justin and the rest of the family, and his wife. He had the courage that not a lot of people have had to join the Marines, and for that I look up to him. Remember, that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. I know it’s cliche, but it is the truth. Again, Ryan, you will be forever missed and all of us await to see you again in heaven. God needed help up there and he chose you…Your name will be honored forever, LANCE CPL. RYAN J. NASS! Justin Olson, Franklin, Wisconsin

September 13, 2005 I knew Nass well, before he joined the Marines. He joined in January of ’03, and I joined the Air Force in February of ’03. Over the past two years we kept in touch every now and then. I will never forget him, and he is in my prayers. I will do my part, and keep fighting the fight against terrorism for lost soldiers like Ryan Nass. My heart goes out to his wife, and immediate family. God bless you all.
