Samuel J. Smith, Jr. 33 of Rootstown passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011. He was born May 19, 1978 in Akron, Ohio to Samuel and Sandy (Bever) Smith, Sr. He has lived in Rootstown tfor he past five and half years. Samuel was employed for local 219 as a pipe fitter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Kami (Stephens) Smith, his children Gavin Alexander, Alana Mae, Lily Ann, step-daughters Kailey, Maleigha, his parents Samuel and Sandy Smith, Sr. of Green , his brother Michael Smith, sister in law Kara Stephens and In laws Marsha (Charles) Robinson of Rootstown.
