Todd M Siebert

Born Todd Michael Siebert on March 22, 1972, in Bellevue. He was a 1990 graduate of North Allegheny High School where he was a member of the R.O.T.C. He also was a graduate of Penn State University. He was a member of the Marine Historical Society and an avid collector of World War II military memorabilia. He also enjoyed landscaping.

For the past 10 years, Capt. Siebert lived at Camp Lejeune, N.C., with his wife, Darcy whom he married August 8, 1994, and 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter.

Todd was destined for the military since he was 8, when he often dressed like a soldier in the back yard. Probably 70 percent of his life was dedicated to being in the military. He was in the ROTC in school. The military paid for his college. He was in the reserves. He was just amazed with it. It was just something that enthused him.”

He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Navy Unit Commendation.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas W. and Dorothy Weiss Siebert of Harmony; his wife, Darcy Shever Siebert, two children, Nicholas and Alicia Siebert; a brother, Thomas Siebert and his wife, Tracey, two sisters, Diana Climo and her husband, Daniel, Denise Ridenour and her husband, Glenn,; and his father-in-law, Delmar Shever and his wife, Barbara.
