Jeremy L Brown

MCMINNVILLE, TN, US

U.S. Army

SPC, HHC, 1ST BN, 187TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, 3RD BCT, FORT CAMPBELL, KY.

Jeremy was born on May 15, 1989, the day after Mothers day. I always wonder why I had him. You see when my first child was born, I did not want more children. But I guess God knows best. I always called Jeremy my miracle baby because I had a tubal ligation when my first child was just two years old. Jeremy arrived five years later.

When Jeremy was just six months old, we started attended church. So I always said God sent him to me to help me straighten up.

Jeremy was always a little guy but he had a huge heart. Anything that Jeremy did, he did the best he could. Jeremy played a lot of sports – baseball, football and wrestling were his favorites. He was always the pitcher, the quarterback and won all his wrestling matches.

Jeremy joined the Army when he was in the 11th grade. So when he graduated on May 18, 2007, he went right into the Army – June 11, 2007. Jeremy was in the Army for almost three years. He re-enlisted after 18 months.

Jeremy was a very likable person. He had so many friends. Jeremy died doing what he loved. He loved the Army. I truly miss him. He gave his life on Mothers day – May 9th, 2010.
